The RUBICON 8 is the uncompromising top model of the RUBICON series. It has all the qualities that make the series so popular, but in a seriously large format. Thanks to two bass compartments and a huge housing, the RUBICON has more than enough power for realistic music reproduction, even in large rooms - no matter what music style you listen to. The RUBICON 8 is a 2 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 way design in DALI terminology, with the bass reproduction being split over two 6.5” drivers, where the lower one is activated at slightly lower frequencies than the upper one. The upper 6.5” driver takes care of the midrange, and the exclusive dome/ribbon tweeter delivers a superior and detailed soundstage, without being harsh or harsh. This also ensures optimal dispersion, even if you don’t sit exactly in the middle between the speakers.
Thanks to the new unique Linear Drive magnet system and DALI's meticulous attention to the smallest detail, the RUBICON 8 produces a sound so clear, dynamic and undistorted, it comes close to the exclusive high-end EPICON series – but at a much more affordable price.
